Karachi (HRNW): In a bizarre and alarming security lapse, a citizen’s motorcycle was stolen from right inside the premises of the Landhi Police Station in Karachi. Adding to the shock, the station’s CCTV cameras reportedly failed to capture any trace of the thief or the moment of the theft.
The victim had been summoned to the station by the Complaint Cell Incharge regarding a financial dispute and spent approximately two hours recording his statement before Sub-Inspector (SI) Nadeem. Upon exiting the building, he discovered his vehicle was missing from the station’s supposedly secure parking area. The victim has released a video statement expressing disbelief, while police officials have confirmed that an investigation has been launched and a formal case will be registered.
