Karachi: Police from the Shah Latif Town station arrested a suspect, identified as Syed Farhan Ali Shah (son of Riaz Hussain Shah), during a routine patrol.
According to the police, the suspect was allegedly involved in robberies across various areas of Malir, targeting citizens by posing as police or press personnel.
Police reported the recovery of a .30-bore pistol with four rounds of ammunition, a fake Police CCD card, and a fake press card from the suspect’s possession.
Cases have been registered against the suspect; his criminal history is being verified, and further investigation is underway.
