Dubai (HRNW)- Authorities in Dubai issued an emergency alert to residents following a possible missile threat in the United Arab Emirates. According to media reports, an urgent message was sent to mobile phones across several areas of Dubai advising citizens to immediately move to the nearest safe building and avoid open spaces, windows, and doors. The Ministry of Interior instructed residents to remain in secure locations until further official instructions are announced. Officials clarified that the alert was issued as a precautionary measure to ensure public safety in case of any potential threat. Authorities also expressed concern that some individuals stepped outside their homes to record videos or post content on social media after receiving the emergency notification. The Ministry warned that such behavior is dangerous and violating official safety instructions may also lead to legal action. Drivers were advised not to suddenly stop their vehicles or exit on highways if they receive an emergency alert while driving, but instead proceed safely to their destination and take shelter in the nearest secure building. Authorities urged the public to rely only on official sources for updates and strictly follow government instructions.
