Pyongyang (HRNW)- North Korean leader Kim Jong-un has publicly showcased 50 rocket launchers ahead of the country’s major party congress.
The nuclear-capable weapons were described by Kim Jong-un as “magnificent” and “spectacular” during the pre-congress military display, which is intended to demonstrate North Korea’s military strength and strategic defense capabilities. The event is part of the country’s preparations for its once-every-five-years party congress.
International observers believe such demonstrations are often used by North Korea to signal military readiness and reinforce its defense posture.
