Washington (HRNW)- US Vice President JD Vance has called the recent Supreme Court decision illegal. In his social media message, the Vice President said that the court decision is a clear and simple violation of the law and will make it more difficult for the President to ensure the protection of American industries and supply chains.
He added that President Donald Trump also has other powers to impose tariffs and he will use these powers to protect the rights of American workers and advance the administration’s trade priorities.
It should be noted that the US Supreme Court had declared President Trump’s tariff measures null and void, on which US Treasury Secretary Scott Besant said that now other relevant laws will be resorted to for tariffs.
