US Ambassador Mike Huckabee’s Remarks on Israel’s Biblical Borders Spark Debate

Washington (HRNW)- US Ambassador to Israel Mike Huckabee has said that Israel has the right to occupy the Middle East because this land was given to the Israelis by God.

In an interview with conservative American analyst Tucker Carlson that aired on Friday, when Mike Huckabee was asked about Israel’s geographical borders, he said that Israel’s borders are based on the boundaries described in the Bible, that this land was given to the Israelis by God, and that Israel’s occupation from the Nile to the Euphrates would be fine.

Mike Huckabee said that if Israel occupied most of the Middle East, he would not object to it, emphasizing that he considered the Jewish people to have the right to this land.

Carlson told Huckabee that according to a verse in the Bible, this land was promised to the descendants of Abraham, which includes the area between the Euphrates River in Iraq and the Nile River in Egypt. Such a vast area would include parts of present-day Lebanon, Syria, Jordan and Saudi Arabia. “Even if they take it all,” Trump’s appointed ambassador, Huckabee, responded last year.
