Lahore (HRNW)- The Punjab government has issued a notification to close all theaters across the province from the first of Ramadan in honor of Ramadan.
The notification has clarified that no plays or shows will be screened in any theater hall, including Lahore, from the first of Ramadan. This ban has also been sent to all deputy commissioners of Punjab through a letter.
Officials say that all theaters are directed to strictly follow the government’s decision. In case of violation of the instructions, legal and disciplinary action will be taken against the theater concerned.
