Major Heist in Karachi: Jeweler’s Shop Looted of Gold Worth PKR 30 Crore and Diamonds Worth PKR 2.5 Million

Karachi, Pakistan (HRNW) A significant robbery took place at a well-known jeweler’s shop in Iqbal Market, District West, Karachi, where unidentified suspects broke through the shop’s wall and stole 606 tolas of gold along with diamonds valued at PKR 2.5 million.

The affected jeweler, Ayub Khan, has registered a case at Iqbal Market Police Station. According to Ayub Khan, he had closed the shop as usual on February 13. On February 14, when his staff opened the shop, the boxes were found empty. Upon inspecting the back of the shop, they discovered that the wall had been broken.

Ayub Khan stated that his personally crafted gold, weighing 7,064 grams, was missing, along with some diamonds and other valuable items, totaling approximately PKR 2.5 million.

The police have registered a formal case and launched legal proceedings, with investigations underway to apprehend the suspects.
