Abducted Pregnant Woman Found Murdered in Jamshoro, Justice Still Denied

Jamshoro (HRNW): The body of a pregnant woman, Sabro, who was abducted ten days ago from Muhammad Koso Goth, was recovered today. Sabro was the wife of Babar Ali Pathan and a mother of four children. She earned her livelihood by selling clothes door to door.

According to initial reports, Sabro was subjected to repeated sexual assault for several days after her abduction and was later brutally murdered. Her body was found in a decomposed condition, and the post-mortem examination is currently underway.

The most alarming aspect of this tragic case is that no First Information Report (FIR) has been registered by the police so far, despite the seriousness of the crime.

Local leaders and residents have demanded that the Chief Minister of Sindh take immediate notice of the incident, ensure the registration of an FIR, and hold those responsible accountable under the law instead of providing them protection. They have called for exemplary punishment to deliver justice and deter such heinous crimes.

This incident highlights the deepening human rights crisis, particularly the lack of protection for women, delayed justice, and institutional failure in cases of extreme violence.
