Thousands Gather in Qalandari for 774th Urs of Hazrat Lal Shahbaz Qalandar

Lahore (HRNW)- Thousands of pilgrims have reached the city of Qalandari in preparation for the 774th Urs celebrations of Syedna Usman Marwandi, also known as Hazrat Lal Shahbaz Qalandar. The 3-day Urs celebrations will begin from 18 Shaban, while the formal commencement will be on 7 February.

Pilgrims are arriving from different cities of the country, especially Punjab, through trains, vans, coaches and personal vehicles. According to local sources, the vehicle owners have fixed the fares as per their wishes.

Pilgrims are busy in various places of the city before leaving for the Urs celebrations, which is a symbol of devotion and spiritual love for Hazrat Lal Shahbaz Qalandar. The administration has made special arrangements for the convenience and security of the pilgrims so that the three-day celebrations can be held in a calm and orderly manner.
