Altaf Shakoor Reaffirms Pakistan’s Solidarity with Kashmir on Kashmir Solidarity Day

Karachi (HRNW)- Pasban Democratic Party (PDP) Chairman Altaf Shakoor has said that Pakistan is incomplete without Kashmir because the letter “K” in the word Pakistan represents Kashmir. He said this on Wednesday on the occasion of Kashmir Solidarity Day.

Altaf Shakoor said that Kashmir Solidarity Day is celebrated every year on February 5 across Pakistan, which is observed as a national holiday to express solidarity with the people of occupied Jammu and Kashmir. Rallies, demonstrations and seminars are organized on this day, which reflects Pakistan’s long-standing stance on the Kashmir issue.

He said that Kashmir Day holds political and diplomatic importance for the Pakistani nation because it reiterates that Kashmir is a disputed region that needs to be resolved at the international level. On this occasion, Pakistan calls on the United Nations and world powers to play their role in resolving the Kashmir issue.

The PDP Chairman said that Kashmir Solidarity Day is a symbol of national unity in Pakistan, transcending political differences, where all political parties are seen united to express solidarity with the Kashmiri people. This day also reflects the deep emotional bond between Pakistanis and Kashmiris based on faith, culture and shared history.

Altaf Shakoor said that today we pay tribute to the sacrifices of Kashmiri martyrs and express our full support and solidarity with them. He called on the government of Pakistan to redouble its efforts for the Kashmir issue and the right of self-determination of the Kashmiri people.

He expressed his determination that the Pasban Democratic Party will continue to play its role in highlighting the voice of Kashmiri freedom fighters. Altaf Shakoor said that the day is not far when the Kashmiri brothers of occupied Kashmir will achieve the blessing of freedom.
