Karachi Court Sentences Man to Death for Killing Ex-Wife’s Husband

Karachi, Pakistan (HRNW) — A local court in Karachi has sentenced accused Riaz alias Raju to death after finding him guilty of murdering his ex-wife’s husband by stabbing him to death.

According to the court’s judgment, prosecution witnesses provided consistent testimony, and the case also included an eyewitness account confirming the incident. The evidence proved that the victim had married the convict’s former wife, which had led to a personal dispute between the two men.

The court ruled that due to this ongoing conflict, the accused fatally attacked the victim with a knife in February 2024, resulting in his death. The case had been registered at the PIB Colony Police Station.

After a thorough review of the evidence and arguments, the court declared Riaz alias Raju guilty of murder and sentenced him to death under relevant legal provisions.
