Muzaffarabad (HRNW) – According to the unofficial results of the two phases of the Azad Jammu and Kashmir elections, the Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) has emerged as the largest political party by securing 23 seats, while the Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP) has won 9 seats.
In the first phase of the elections, PML-N secured 9 seats, whereas PPP won 4 seats.
During the second phase, which comprised 20 seats, PML-N won 14 seats, while PPP secured 5 seats.
Combining the results of both phases, PML-N has won a total of 23 out of 32 seats, with PPP securing the remaining 9 seats.
Following the election results, political discussions have intensified regarding the formation of the next government, possible alliances, and future political strategies. The official and final results are expected to be announced by the election authorities.
