Lahore (HRNW) — The Punjab government has reportedly requested the federal government to suspend mobile and internet services, or reduce network connectivity, in certain areas ahead of the PTI long march.
According to sources, the Punjab Home Department has written to the federal government requesting the suspension or downgrading of mobile and internet services from September 27.
Sources said the provincial government has also requested the suspension of mobile and internet services in specific areas of Attock and Rawalpindi districts.
The final decision on the request and its implementation will be taken by the federal government and the relevant authorities.
