Ramallah (HRNW)- Israeli forces raided several areas across the occupied West Bank early Wednesday, detaining at least two Palestinians and damaging Palestinian property and vehicles, according to the Palestinian official news agency WAFA.
In Beit Duqqu, northwest of occupied Jerusalem, around 10 Israeli military jeeps reportedly entered the village. Soldiers deployed across the area, raided several homes, and arrested a number of residents before withdrawing. The identities and exact number of those detained there were not immediately known.
In Nabi Saleh, northwest of Ramallah, Israeli forces searched a Palestinian home and arrested a 19-year-old resident.
Israeli forces also carried out raids in the northern West Bank city of Tubas and the nearby town of Aqaba, searching homes and deploying infantry units in several neighborhoods.
Other reports said the raids were accompanied by damage to Palestinian property and vehicles in several parts of the West Bank. The latest operations come amid continuing Israeli military activity and arrests across the occupied territory.
The reported detentions and raids add to ongoing tensions in the West Bank, where Israeli military operations, Palestinian attacks, and settler violence have continued amid the broader Israeli-Palestinian conflict.
