Islamabad/Riyadh (HRNW) – Saudi Arabia has announced a new Umrah policy for pilgrims from Pakistan and three other countries, introducing additional requirements aimed at improving services for Umrah visitors.
Under the new policy, Pakistani Umrah pilgrims will now be required to pay a mandatory food voucher fee as part of their Umrah arrangements.
According to the announced measures, pilgrims will be able to use these food vouchers to obtain meals at designated locations in Makkah and Madinah.
The policy also provides that Umrah pilgrims will be accommodated in designated hotels in Makkah and Madinah to facilitate better organization of lodging and related services.
Saudi authorities say the new measures are intended to enhance the quality of services, improve accommodation standards, streamline catering arrangements, and ensure a more organized Umrah experience for pilgrims.
Further details, including the implementation date, the names of the other affected countries, and operational guidelines, are expected to be announced by the relevant Saudi authorities.
