Islamabad (HRNW) – Shalimar Police in Islamabad have registered a case against Senator Mushtaq Ahmad, Akhunzada Hussain Ahmad Yousafzai, and others under the Anti-Terrorism Act, along with charges of attempted murder, obstructing public officials in the discharge of their duties, and other relevant provisions of the law in connection with a protest in Sector F-10.
According to the police, the case was registered following the protest-related incident, and an investigation is currently underway to determine the full circumstances of the event.
Investigators stated that video recordings, CCTV footage, and other available evidence are being examined to establish the facts and identify the roles of those allegedly involved.
Police further said that additional legal action will be taken based on the evidence gathered during the course of the investigation.
As of the filing of this report, neither Senator Mushtaq Ahmad nor the other individuals named in the case have issued an official response to the allegations.
