Quetta (HRNW) – Two children were killed and another was critically injured in a suspected toy bomb explosion in Killi Jadeed Mian Khan, an area of Quetta, the capital of Balochistan.
According to police, the children reportedly found a toy-like suspicious object outside and brought it home. Preliminary reports indicate that the object exploded while they were playing with it, killing two children at the scene and leaving another seriously injured.
Rescue teams rushed the injured child to a nearby hospital for medical treatment, while the bodies of the deceased children were also shifted to the hospital for legal formalities.
Police have launched an investigation to determine the nature of the explosive device, how it came to be in the area, and the circumstances surrounding the incident.
