ATC Issues Non-Bailable Arrest Warrants for 8 PTI Lawmakers Over Protest, Vandalism

Islamabad (HRNW)- The Anti-Terrorism Court (ATC) Islamabad has issued non-bailable arrest warrants for eight MNAs and MPs in connection with alleged violations of Article 144, protest and vandalism.

According to HRNW News, the warrants were issued in case No. 714 registered at Margalla Police Station by ATC Judge Tahir Abbas Supra. The court directed authorities to arrest all the accused and produce them before the court.

Those named in the arrest warrants include Shahid Khattak, Maulana Naseem Ali Shah, Aamir Dogar, Atif Khan, Iqbal Afridi, Meena Khan, Dr. Amjad and Shafi Jan.

Meanwhile, four PTI workers arrested in connection with a protest on Constitution Highway by PTI lawmakers and workers were also produced before the Anti-Terrorism Court on February 15.

ATC Judge Abul Hasnat Muhammad Zulqarnain heard the case. Police requested that the accused be sent to jail on judicial remand for an identification parade, which the court approved. The four workers were subsequently ordered to be sent to Adiala Jail for the identification process.

The PTI workers were arrested in a case registered at Secretariat Police Station.
