Karachi (HRNW)- The Sindh Assembly has demanded that the federal government immediately halt the collection of the petroleum levy and charges imposed under other unnecessary heads.
The Secretary of the Sindh Assembly has issued a formal communication to the Federal Ministry of Petroleum, calling for an immediate end to the collection of the petroleum levy as well as charges under other unnecessary heads.
The communication was issued following the adoption of a resolution moved by Jamaat-e-Islami lawmaker Muhammad Farooq. The resolution was passed by the House with a majority vote.
