Gold and Silver Prices Rise After Three-Day Market Break

Karachi (HRNW)- Gold and silver prices increased in both global and local markets on Wednesday after a three-day break in trading.

The price of gold in the international bullion market rose by $8 per ounce to $4,404. Following the increase globally, the price of gold per tola in local bullion markets also increased by Rs800 to Rs462,936, while the price of 10 grams rose by Rs686 to Rs396,893.

Meanwhile, the international price of silver increased by 72 cents per ounce to $66.62. In the local market, silver per tola rose by Rs72 to Rs7,141, while the price of 10 grams increased by Rs62 to Rs6,122.

Market fluctuations in precious metal prices have been linked to economic developments and changing global currency policies.
