Punjab Assembly Resolution Seeks Withdrawal of CM’s Controversial Statement

Lahore (HRNW)- A resolution has been submitted in the Punjab Assembly seeking the withdrawal of a statement attributed to Punjab Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz regarding security threats from neighboring provinces.

The resolution was submitted by Punjab Assembly Member Mian Ijaz Shafi. Its text stated that the Chief Minister’s remarks could promote hatred against Punjab and its people in other provinces and could be exploited by enemy countries.

According to the resolution, the statement has caused concern among people in Punjab as well as other provinces. The House strongly condemned the remarks and demanded that the Chief Minister withdraw the statement.
