Islamabad (HRNW)- The Anti-Terrorism Court (ATC) Islamabad has upheld arrest warrants against Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Chief Minister Sohail Afridi, Abdul Ghani Afridi, Junaid Akbar and other accused in the November 26 protest case.
ATC Judge Tahir Abbas Supra heard the case and maintained the arrest warrants for the accused who failed to appear before the court. The court also rejected applications seeking exemption from appearance.
The prosecution proceedings against the KP Chief Minister and other accused are continuing. The court directed police to present the challan against Sohail Afridi and other accused at the earliest and adjourned the further hearing until September 30.
A case against Sohail Afridi and others has been registered at Margalla Police Station.
