Karachi (HRNW) – Police have claimed that Ayaz alias “KK,” a suspect wanted in connection with the fatal shooting of a citizen, was killed during an alleged police encounter near Rabia City in Karachi’s Shahrah-e-Faisal area.
According to police, the suspect had allegedly shot and killed a young man identified as Asim in the Dalmia area a few hours earlier. Following the incident, Aziz Bhatti Police and Shahrah-e-Faisal Police launched a joint operation to locate the suspect.
Police stated that acting on intelligence, officers attempted to intercept the suspect near Rabia City. According to the official account, the suspect allegedly opened fire on the police while attempting to flee, prompting officers to return fire. Police said the suspect, identified as Ayaz alias “KK,” was killed during the exchange.
Authorities further claimed to have recovered a firearm, a mobile phone, and a reportedly stolen motorcycle from the suspect’s possession.
Police officials said preliminary investigations indicate that the deceased suspect was allegedly involved in several serious criminal activities. Raids are reportedly underway to apprehend his alleged accomplices, while further legal proceedings and investigations continue.
