Islamabad (HRNW) — The Anti-Terrorism Court (ATC) in Islamabad has issued new arrest warrants for Sohail Afridi, Meena Khan Afridi, Shahid Khattak and Shafi Jan, ordering that they be arrested and produced before the court.
The court directed the relevant authorities to arrest the four individuals and present them before the court.
The warrants were issued during the proceedings to ensure the appearance of the accused in the relevant case.
Human Angle
While court orders must be implemented, it is equally important to ensure the legal rights of the accused, due process and a fair trial. The issuance of an arrest warrant does not, by itself, establish guilt.
