Fake Police Officer Arrested in Depalpur for Allegedly Impersonating Law Enforcement and Robbing Citizens

Depalpur (HRNW)Sadr Police Station in Depalpur has arrested a man accused of impersonating a police officer by wearing a fake police uniform and allegedly extorting money from citizens.

According to police, the suspect was identified as Ali Sher, son of Muhammad Hussain, of the Kharl community and a resident of Bhooman Shah.

Police alleged that the suspect posed as a law enforcement officer, stopped citizens at various locations under the pretext of routine checking, and demanded money from them.

Upon receiving information about the suspect’s activities, SHO Akhtar Khan of Sadr Police Station led a prompt operation that resulted in the suspect’s arrest.

Police stated that a criminal case has been registered against the accused, and further investigations are underway to determine whether he was involved in other similar incidents or had any accomplices.
