Karachi (HRNW)- The Sindh Health Department has issued official directives to Aga Khan University Hospital and South City Hospital to provide treatment to those injured in the DHA Imambargah incident, with all medical expenses to be borne by the Government of Sindh.
According to the Health Department, all critically injured patients will receive treatment at government expense. Aga Khan University Hospital has been instructed to submit treatment bills and supporting vouchers to the Government of Sindh after the completion of medical care for reimbursement.
The department stated that the directives were issued in compliance with instructions from the Chief Minister’s Secretariat, and immediate implementation has already begun.
Sindh Health Minister Dr. Azra Fazal Pechuho said that women, children, and all other victims injured in the Imambargah incident will be provided with comprehensive medical treatment and all necessary healthcare facilities.
The Health Department has also directed both hospitals to ensure that the injured receive the best possible medical care without any delay.
The Government of Sindh reiterated that all treatment costs of those affected by the incident will be paid from the provincial treasury, emphasizing that every possible medical facility will be provided to safeguard human lives.
