Kuwait Air Defenses Intercept Enemy Drones Amid Rising Regional Tensions

Kuwait City (HRNW)- Kuwait’s Defense Ministry has claimed that its air defense system successfully intercepted enemy drones detected in Kuwaiti airspace, amid growing security concerns in the region.

According to media reports, Defense Ministry spokesperson Saud Abdulaziz Al-Atwan said that the armed forces identified several hostile drones on Sunday morning and responded to them in line with approved military procedures.

He added that Kuwait’s armed forces remain fully prepared to defend the country’s sovereignty and ensure the safety of both citizens and residents at all times.

The incident comes at a time of heightened regional tensions following reported military developments involving the United States, Israel, and Iran in recent months.
