Nablus (HRNW)- Several Palestinians were injured in attacks carried out by illegal Israeli settlers and during Israeli army raids in different areas of the occupied West Bank, further escalating tensions in the region. According to reports by Anadolu Agency, settlers raided the villages of Jurish and Aqraba town south of Nablus, pelting Palestinian homes with stones and attacking local residents.
The Palestine Red Crescent Society stated that its medical teams treated a 35-year-old pregnant woman and a 65-year-old woman after settlers attacked Jurish village. In the central occupied West Bank, settlers also attacked the village of Deir Jarir, sparking clashes while Israeli forces reportedly protected the settlers during the violence.
Sources said Israeli soldiers fired live ammunition during the raid, injuring a Palestinian man in the leg and detaining several residents. The continued violence has raised fresh concerns over the worsening humanitarian and security situation in the occupied territories.
