Sindh Cabinet Approves Development Projects for Shrines and Religious Sites

The Sindh Cabinet meeting chaired by Syed Murad Ali Shah continued at the Chief Minister’s House Karachi, in which development projects related to shrines and religious places were approved.

According to the spokesperson of the Chief Minister of Sindh, the development projects for various shrines and religious places were presented before the cabinet by the Auqaf and Religious Affairs Department, which were approved.

The meeting approved the establishment of the library of Hazrat Sachal Sarmast in the Daraza Sharif area of ​​Khairpur. The total cost of the Sachal Sarmast library project has been fixed at Rs 51.5 million.

Similarly, development works were also approved at the shrine of Hazrat Shah Latif Bhittai in the Bhit Shah area of ​​Matiari. Under the project, rehabilitation of internal roads and installation of a new 200 KVA transformer will be carried out. The Sindh Cabinet has allocated Rs 33.6 million for this project.

The Sindh Chief Minister also approved the immediate release of 25 percent funds for both projects and directed that steps be expedited to provide better facilities to the pilgrims.

The Chief Minister said that the development of shrines and religious places would not only facilitate the pilgrims but also highlight the historical and cultural importance of these places.
