Islamabad (HRNW)- The Islamabad Traffic Police (ITP) has issued a traffic advisory announcing temporary route diversions on key highways due to the movement of foreign delegations in the federal capital. Officials stated that traffic will be diverted for short periods on various routes, urging citizens to remain patient and plan their travel in advance to avoid inconvenience.
In addition, due to ongoing rainfall, motorists have been advised to drive carefully as roads may become slippery and traffic flow could be affected. Drivers and motorcyclists are urged to reduce speed, maintain lane discipline, and ensure the proper use of side mirrors and indicators. Motorcyclists have specifically been instructed to use the extreme left lane and travel cautiously.
The ITP confirmed that personnel are deployed across the city to assist and guide citizens. For assistance or information, citizens can contact the traffic helpline 1915 or the emergency helpline “Pakaar-15”.
