Islamabad (HRNW)- Officials have informed Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Senator Muhammad Ishaq Dar that Pakistan currently has sufficient petroleum product reserves to meet domestic needs beyond April.
The briefing was given during a high-level meeting chaired by Ishaq Dar to review the country’s petroleum reserves and preparedness amid the evolving Middle East situation.
Officials stated that the existing reserves are adequate to meet current demand as well as requirements in the coming months, ensuring stability in supply.
Expressing satisfaction over the situation, Ishaq Dar directed all relevant ministries and authorities to enhance coordination and ensure uninterrupted availability of petroleum products across the country.
He emphasized that proactive measures must be taken to maintain consistent supply in the coming weeks, so that the public does not face any inconvenience.
The meeting was attended by the Federal Minister for Petroleum, Special Assistant Tariq Bajwa, Federal Minister for Economic Affairs, along with federal secretaries, provincial chief secretaries, and other senior officials.
