Islamabad (HRNW)- Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Ishaq Dar has rejected unnecessary speculations circulating in the media regarding negotiations to end the ongoing conflict in the Middle East, while confirming that indirect talks between the United States and Iran are underway.
In a statement issued on social media platform X (formerly Twitter), Ishaq Dar said that Pakistan is playing an active mediatory role, facilitating communication between the two sides. He revealed that the United States has presented 15 key points, which are currently under consideration by Iran.
The Foreign Minister added that brotherly Islamic countries including Turkey and Egypt, along with other states, are also cooperating to support this peace initiative aimed at reducing regional tensions.
He reiterated that Pakistan remains firmly committed to promoting peace and stability both regionally and globally, and will continue all possible diplomatic efforts to achieve lasting solutions.
Ishaq Dar emphasized that in the current complex situation, dialogue and diplomacy are the only viable paths to ensuring sustainable peace and resolving ongoing conflicts.
