ISLAMABAD (HRNW): The founder of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) was shifted to PIMS Hospital for a scheduled follow-up of his eye treatment, where he received a second dose of an “anti-VEGF intravitreal injection.” According to PIMS Hospital authorities, the patient was discharged following the procedure with specific follow-up advice and a formal prescription.
Prior to the procedure, a board of specialists conducted a comprehensive medical examination. This included a detailed assessment by a consultant cardiologist, who performed an echocardiography and an ECG, both of which were reported as normal.
