MANSEHRA (HRNW) – Lieutenant Colonel Shahzada Gul Faraz, who embraced martyrdom in the line of duty, was laid to rest today in his hometown of Mansehra with full military honors. The funeral prayers were attended by his family members, high-ranking military officials, and a large number of citizens who gathered to pay their final respects. The martyred officer leaves behind a widow, two sons, and two daughters.
Paying tribute to the fallen soldier, Defense Minister Khawaja Asif stated that the courage and ultimate sacrifice of Lieutenant Colonel Shahzada Gul Faraz in the service of the nation will be remembered forever. A contingent of the Pakistan Army presented a guard of honor, and floral wreaths were laid on his grave on behalf of the military leadership to acknowledge his gallantry.
