KARACHI (HRNW) – Four people, including a woman, were killed and ten others injured in a collision involving a van and several vehicles on the M-9 Motorway. According to police, the accident likely occurred due to rain and slippery road conditions, which caused the vehicles’ brakes to fail.
Passenger Ghulam Rasool stated that he was traveling to his village in Moro with his wife, daughter-in-law, and grandson when the crash occurred. Tragically, his wife and grandson lost their lives, while his daughter-in-law sustained injuries.
It is noteworthy that just a few days earlier, another horrific traffic accident near Kathore on the M-9 Motorway claimed 14 lives, once again raising serious concerns over safety measures on the motorway.
