Karachi (HRNW)- The Sindh government has taken an important decision to screen the health of deportees at Jinnah International Airport. Now, mandatory screening for diseases like HIV, TB and hepatitis will be done.
According to the Sindh department, 150 to 200 deportees reach Karachi every day, and the lack of regular medical screening has increased the risk of spreading infectious diseases.
The aim of this move is not only to protect the health of deportees but also to reduce public health risks. The health department has said that after this screening, the affected people will be provided with immediate treatment and isolation facilities if needed.
