Peshawar (HRNW)- A Sessions Court in Peshawar has sentenced Imtiaz to death after finding him guilty of murdering his mother over her refusal to give him money.
Additional Sessions Judge Rafiullah announced the verdict after hearing arguments from both sides. According to the prosecution, Imtiaz, along with his accomplice Tahir, stabbed his mother to death after she refused to provide them with money.
The prosecution told the court that the incident occurred on August 1, 2023, within the jurisdiction of Inqilab Police Station.
The court sentenced Imtiaz to death following his conviction. His alleged accomplice, Tahir, was declared a proclaimed offender after absconding, and arrest warrants were issued against him.
