Islamabad (HRNW) – According to the latest Henley Passport Index, Pakistan’s passport ranking has shown a slight improvement in the global passport rankings.
The Pakistani passport has moved up from 103rd position to 101st position in the newly released ranking.
According to the report, Pakistani citizens can now travel to approximately 29 countries without obtaining a prior visa, including destinations offering visa-on-arrival or other simplified entry arrangements.
The Henley Passport Index ranks passports worldwide based on factors including international travel access, visa-free mobility, and entry requirements imposed by different countries.
Experts believe that improvement in passport ranking could positively contribute to opportunities for Pakistani citizens in international travel, business, education, and tourism. However, further diplomatic and economic efforts remain important to achieve stronger global mobility rankings.
