Karachi (HRNW)- Australian Police Officer Rafiq Ahmed Chaudhry met Syed Pir Muhammad Shah, DIG Traffic Karachi, at his office, in which detailed discussions were held on issues related to traffic management, road safety and civic amenities.
During the meeting, improvements in the Karachi Traffic Police system and steps to provide better facilities to the citizens were discussed.
On this occasion, Rafiq Ahmed Chaudhry appreciated the services of DIG Traffic Karachi and the steps taken to improve the traffic system in the city. He said that during his recent visit to Karachi, he had noticed a clear improvement in the traffic situation in the city.
He also invited DIG Traffic Karachi to visit Australia and assured all possible cooperation for further improvement of the traffic system. He said that Pakistani citizens obey the laws in a better manner abroad, and if the same attitude is adopted in his own country, a positive change can be brought about in the society.
The meeting is being described as important in terms of exchanging experiences in police and traffic management between the two countries.
