Islamabad (HRNW) – US Chargé d’Affaires in Pakistan, Ms. Natalie A. Baker, met with Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Senator Muhammad Ishaq Dar in Islamabad, where matters related to regional developments and Pakistan–US bilateral relations were discussed.
According to details, the meeting focused on the evolving regional situation and the state of relations between Pakistan and the United States. Ishaq Dar highlighted Pakistan’s role in facilitating diplomatic contacts between the US and Iran.
He stated that ongoing diplomatic efforts are expected to contribute to peace and stability in the region and beyond.
The Deputy Prime Minister also appreciated US cooperation in the repatriation of Pakistani and Iranian naval personnel via Singapore.
Both sides also discussed issues of mutual interest along with the overall regional security situation.
