Cargo Ship Attacked 23 Miles Off Qatari Coast, Fire Reported After Strike

Doha (HRNW)- A cargo ship has been attacked approximately 23 miles off the coast of the Qatari capital, raising fresh concerns over maritime security in the region. According to media reports, the vessel was struck by a projectile around 23 miles northeast of Doha.

The British Maritime Authority confirmed that a fire broke out on the tanker following the attack, which was later brought under control. Authorities also reported that one person was injured in the incident.
