Karachi (HRNW)- In view of public complaints regarding water supply in residential areas of North Nazimabad Town and North Karachi Town, Haqqparast Member of Provincial Assembly Jamal Ahmed Bhai along with North Nazimabad Town Member and Local Government Member Asif Ahmed Bhai met with Karachi Water Board MD Ahmed Ali, Chief Operating Officer Asadullah Khan and Chief Engineer Shahrukh.

SE, XCN and WTM officers of Water and Sewerage of both towns were also present during the meeting.

Jamal Ahmed Bhai expressed concern over the current water supply system in areas 11c, 7D/1, 7D/2 and Sector 10 of North Karachi and said that water is being supplied every 18 days, due to which low pressure and unfair distribution of linemen are causing difficulties for the public. He demanded that water supply be brought to a 7-day interval and the linemen be strictly bound that no injustice will be accepted during the supply.

Furthermore, he referred to the difficulties of the buffer zone, Shadman, Block L, M, N and J areas due to low water level, distribution and low pressure in Sakhi Hassan Hyden and stressed the need for immediate measures.

During the meeting, the issues of KBR regarding sewerage were also brought forward.

MD Water Board Ahmed Ali issued instructions to the officers assuring immediate action on all issues and assured Member Provincial Assembly Jamal Ahmed Bhai that the complaints would be resolved soon.
