Medical Board Conducts Follow-up Eye Examination of Imran Khan at Adiala Jail

RAWALPINDI (HRNW): A high-level five-member medical board conducted a detailed follow-up examination of PTI founder Imran Khan’s affected eye at Adiala Jail today. The check-up, performed in the presence of his wife, Bushra Bibi, was carried out by a team of specialists constituted by the Chief Commissioner of Islamabad following judicial orders.

The medical team included renowned ophthalmologists and experts: Professor Nadeem Qureshi, Dr. Arif Khan, Professor Altaf Hussain, Professor Akhtar Ali Bandesha, and Dr. Ali Arif. A government ambulance equipped with advanced diagnostic machinery was stationed at the jail during the procedure. According to the board, the PTI founder has previously received two treatments at PIMS Hospital and now requires a third injection. The doctors assessed the progress of his recovery to finalize the next phase of his clinical plan. A formal report will be submitted to the Chief Commissioner of Islamabad.

In a separate development, Federal Minister Attaullah Tarar announced that the PTI founder will be allowed to speak with his children via telephone on the day of Eid. The minister further clarified that while NICOP cardholders do not require a visa to visit Pakistan, the founder’s children must adhere to national laws during any potential stay in the country.
