KARACHI (HRNW) – An Anti-Corruption Establishment (ACE) team, led by SP Adeel Sohu, conducted a raid at the Town Municipal Corporation (TMC) Model Colony Town office. The anti-corruption team demanded official records from Municipal Commissioner Ibrahim Umrani during the operation.
According to sources, the raid was carried out in connection with alleged irregularities and repeated incidents of corruption within the town administration.
In recent days, multi-million-rupee NITs (Notices Inviting Tender) issued by the Model Colony Town office were cancelled, as it was discovered that the contracts had been awarded on political recommendations.
