Karachi (HRNW)- A tragic accident occurred near Old Mauripur Stop on Hawksbay Road when a high-speed trailer collided with a motorcycle, killing a two-year-old boy and injuring his parents. Police have seized the trailer and arrested the driver, Ejaz Ali, son of Ahmad Ali.
According to reports, the accident took place in the jurisdiction of Mauripur Police Station. The deceased child has been identified as Hamad, while his injured parents are 30-year-old Danish and 25-year-old Zainab. The family, residents of Khadda Market, was traveling on the motorcycle with their children when the collision occurred. The two-year-old son was killed, the mother was injured, while the father and four-year-old daughter remained unharmed.
The injured were immediately transported to Civil Hospital via Edhi ambulance for treatment. Police arrived promptly at the scene and took the trailer into custody, with further legal proceedings underway.
