Karachi (HRNW)- Pakistan International Airlines (PIA) has successfully renewed its IATA Operational Safety Audit (IOSA) registration for the 12th consecutive time, marking another milestone in the national airline’s compliance with international aviation safety standards.
According to a PIA spokesperson, the registration was renewed following the successful completion of a risk-based IOSA audit and will remain valid until September 11, 2028.
The audit involved a comprehensive review of safety and operational standards across several key departments, including flight operations, cabin operations, ground handling, and cargo operations.
The spokesperson said the 12th consecutive renewal reflects PIA’s commitment to maintaining international standards in safety, security, and operational practices.
PIA management described the renewal as a significant achievement and reaffirmed its commitment to the continuous improvement of safety and operational standards.
The airline also acknowledged the efforts of its employees, saying the PIA team played a key role in successfully completing the audit and securing the renewed registration.
