Lahore (HRNW) — DIG Operations Faisal Kamran has directed police officials to take immediate action on citizens’ complaints during an open court, stressing that legal verification and written agreements are essential in pledge and financial transactions to protect citizens from fraud and financial losses.
During the open court, complaints regarding alleged fraud in pledge-related transactions were presented. The DIG Operations ordered the concerned officers to initiate legal proceedings and directed that affected citizens be provided immediate legal assistance and that their cases be dealt with strictly on merit.
Faisal Kamran advised citizens to exercise extreme caution when entering into financial or pledge-related transactions and avoid conducting financial dealings without a written agreement and proper legal verification.
Applications concerning complaints related to financial transactions were also forwarded to the relevant officers for further investigation.
The open court also addressed complaints involving domestic violence, threats and harassment. The DIG Operations ordered immediate legal action and directed officers to provide affected women with full legal protection and all possible assistance.
He further instructed police officers to ensure timely justice for citizens and improve police service delivery.
DIG Operations Faisal Kamran warned that any delay or negligence in addressing public complaints would not be tolerated.
