Residents Demand Immediate Action Over Alleged Illegal Construction in Scheme 33

Karachi (HRNW) – Residents of Scheme 33, Kaneez Fatima Society, Row-H, Block-4, Sector 16-A have urged the relevant authorities to take immediate notice of ongoing construction work at Plot No. CM-10.

According to local residents, the plot has an approved construction plan of Ground Plus 5 (G+5); however, they allege that construction activities are continuing up to the sixth floor, raising serious concerns among area residents.

Citizens have appealed to the Sindh Minister for Local Government, Director General Sindh Building Control Authority (SBCA), Additional Director General, and other relevant officials to conduct an immediate site inspection and verify the approved building plan, No Objection Certificates (NOCs), and construction records.

Residents stated that if an investigation confirms that the construction is exceeding the approved plan, strict legal action should be taken against those responsible.

The residents emphasized that strict enforcement of building regulations, transparent monitoring, and effective action are essential for safe and organized urban development. They demanded an impartial inquiry into the matter and urged authorities to make the findings public.
