Karachi (HRNW) – Global commodity and financial markets showed mixed trends, with crude oil prices declining while gold, silver, and Bitcoin recorded gains.
According to the latest market data, U.S. West Texas Intermediate (WTI) crude oil fell by 2.40%, bringing its price down to US$89.98 per barrel.
Meanwhile, Brent crude oil declined by US$2.77, trading at US$97.90 per barrel.
The price of UAE Murban crude oil also dropped significantly by 9.66%, settling at US$96.82 per barrel.
In the precious metals market, gold rose by US$13.40 to reach US$4,060 per ounce, while silver gained 64 cents, trading at US$58.69 per ounce.
The cryptocurrency market also posted gains, with Bitcoin increasing by US$240 to trade at US$64,984.
Market analysts say fluctuations in global commodity and financial markets continue to be influenced by geopolitical developments, supply and demand dynamics, central bank policies, and investor sentiment.
